Can you explain the Hume Band 2.0 in plain terms?
It's a wrist-worn longevity tracker. It reads biological age, metabolic momentum, blood pressure trends, HRV, blood oxygen, sleep stages, and skin temperature, running up to 14 days between charges — none of that requires a subscription to work.
Does my phone need to stay with me at all times?
No. The band captures and stores your data on its own. The Hume Health app (iOS and Android) is where your trends show up, syncing automatically once your phone's nearby — so you're free to leave it behind on a run or overnight.
Can I wear it in the shower or the pool?
Yes. It's IP68-rated — dustproof and water-resistant to 1 meter (about 3.2 feet) for up to 2 hours. Showers, swimming, and sweaty gym sessions are all within its limits.
How reliable are the readings?
Version 2.0 uses 5 LEDs and 4 photodiodes, sampling more frequently than most wearables at this price point, with accuracy validated in both internal lab testing and independent third-party review. As with any optical wrist sensor, a snug fit — about a finger's width above the wrist bone — gives you the most consistent results.

It's completely optional, priced at $8.99 a month, and unlocks AI-driven coaching plus deeper longevity analysis. Your purchase already includes the core metrics — biological age, blood pressure trends, HRV, and the rest — with or without Premium.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds to pay for it?
Yes — Hume Band qualifies for both HSA and FSA spending, so pre-tax health dollars can cover the purchase at checkout.

Yes, any time, directly from the Hume Health app. It's your data, and exporting it is never locked behind a paywall.
