Privacy Policy
What information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
Last updated: June 2026
Health information deserves careful handling. This page explains, in plain language, what Hume Health Corp collects through humebandofficial.website and the Hume Health app, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Provided by you
- Basic details like your name, email, shipping address, and payment information when you order or create an account.
- Anything you share with us when contacting support.
Generated by the band and app
- Biometric readings — heart rate, HRV, SpO2, skin temperature, sleep stages, movement — that drive the figures shown in the app, including Metabolic Momentum and biological age.
- General technical details — device model, app version, broad usage patterns — that help keep the service running smoothly.
2. How We Use It
- Turn raw sensor readings into the trends and insights displayed in the app.
- Process and ship your order, and handle any return or warranty request.
- Respond when you contact support.
- Improve our sensors and algorithms over time, typically using aggregated or de-identified data.
- Send order-related messages, and — only if you've opted in — occasional product updates.
3. This Data Is Yours
Your biometric history belongs to you. Export it from the Hume Health app any time, and if you'd like your account and its data deleted entirely, contact support — we process deletion requests within 30 days, aside from records we're legally required to retain, such as order history for tax purposes.
4. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your health data. It's shared only in these situations:
- Service providers who support our operations — payment processors, delivery carriers, cloud hosting — under agreements limiting their use of it strictly to providing that service.
- Legal requirements, where we're obligated to disclose something under law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
- A business sale or merger, should one occur, under the same privacy commitments described here.
5. How It's Protected
Data in transit and at rest is encrypted to industry standards, and internal access is limited to staff who genuinely need it to do their work. No system is entirely risk-free, but we treat this seriously given the sensitivity of health data.
6. Cookies
The site uses cookies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand broadly how the site gets used, so we can improve it. You can disable these in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
7. Your Choices
You can access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details below. You can also opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we've collected and the right to opt out of certain types of data sharing.
8. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and the Services are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, let us know and we'll remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, reflected in the date at the top. For anything material, we'll provide more prominent notice — an in-app message or email, for example.
Questions about your data?
Contact us through the Hume Health app, or by email at the address on your order confirmation, to ask a question or exercise any of the choices described above.
